About Us
My Best Friend’s Place is a Jacksonville-based nonprofit providing FARR-certified Level II residential sober living for women and men. Our recovery residences offer safe, structured, and supportive environments where individuals can build a strong foundation in early recovery.
Founded and operated by a local Jacksonville family personally affected by addiction, our work is rooted in lived experience, compassion, and hope. We understand the challenges that individuals and their families face during the beginning stages of recovery, and we are committed to walking alongside them as they rebuild their lives.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide safe housing and a supportive recovery community built on structure, accountability, and connection. We believe recovery is not one-size-fits-all and that lasting change is strengthened through compassion, personal responsibility, and community.
At My Best Friend’s Place, residents receive more than a place to live. They are welcomed into an environment where they can feel supported, build healthy routines, and move forward with purpose and hope.
